Store film in dry, well-ventilated spaces to prevent moisture absorption and adhesive degradation. Maintain consistent moderate temperatures (15-25°C) to avoid brittleness in cold or softening in heat. Protect from direct sunlight/UV exposure which breaks down polymer structures over time.

Store rolls upright to prevent compression damage. If horizontal storage is necessary, place on flat surfaces and rotate periodically. Maintain adequate spacing between stacks for air circulation. Avoid placing heavy objects on top that could deform rolls or puncture film layers.

Keep film away from sharp objects and rough surfaces. Isolate from chemicals/solvents that could cause discoloration or adhesive failure. Preserve original packaging when possible - it's designed for optimal protection. For damaged packaging, replace with breathable covers that don't trap moisture.

Conduct periodic inspections for discoloration, stickiness, or edge cracks. Test film flexibility and adhesion by unrolling samples. Segregate compromised rolls immediately. Implement FIFO (First-In-First-Out) inventory management to ensure older stock gets used first.
