Preventing Residual Glue on Aluminum Plate Protective Film
1. When Selecting the Film
- Choose a protective film with suitable viscosity according to the use scenario and duration of the aluminum plate.
- For short-term indoor use, choose a low-viscosity film; for long-term outdoor exposure, choose a film with medium viscosity and strong weather resistance.
- Prioritize brands with reliable quality and quality certification to avoid residual glue due to poor film material.
2. Before Use
- Ensure the surface of the aluminum plate is clean and dry, free of oil, dust and other impurities.
- Wipe with alcohol or special cleaner and then dry.
- When pasting, control the temperature (15℃-30℃) and pressure, avoiding high temperatures that could soften the glue.
- Use roller pressing to apply pressure evenly for a tight fit without bubbles.
3. Film Removal Stage
- Remove the protective film within the recommended period (generally 3-6 months).
- Peel off slowly and evenly to avoid pulling residual glue.
- In cold temperatures, use a hot air gun to moderately heat and reduce glue viscosity before peeling.
4. Storage
- Store unused protective film in a dry, cool, and ventilated place.
- Avoid direct sunlight and high temperature environments.
- Prevent glue from aging and deteriorating prematurely.
The above measures can effectively reduce the risk of residual glue on the aluminum plate protective film.
